About Us

Ceramic bearings have been been a staple in Formula 1 racing for many years.  In 2003 ceramic bearings stormed onto the cycling scene at the Tour De France.  Although it wasn't widely known at the time, every top rider hoping to challenge for the overall classification was using them.

It was that July, of 2003, that F1 Ceramic was first born.  A group of tech conscience bicycle mechanics began testing different bearing materials.  We tested steel bearings to failure and then began formulating a plan to create the best ceramic bearing the cycling world had scene.

After the success of our F1 Ceramic bearings for cycling it was an easy choice to enter the skateboard market.  We knew we could make a ceramic bearing that could hold up to the most demanding tricks and ramps.  So in 2007, we launched the F1 Ceramic Skate bearings!

Year in and year out, F1 Ceramic Bearings are scoring some of the biggest wins! We continue to research the best possible components for our bearings. You can rest assured if the bearing says "F1 Ceramic" on it, the bearing represents the best available bearing in the marketplace!

Some are good but most are sub par quality and are actually slower than steel bearings. For something as important as your speed, you need to know that your bearings are the best.
