FSA Mega Exo BBs have been plagued by alignment issues. The design of the crank is such that it is possible to put too much pressure on the bearings causing them to wear out very quickly. We decided to design our own solution for FSA Mega Exo BBs. We start with our successful Shimano 10 BB. Then we make 2 important changes. We remove the plastic center sleeve and replace it with an alloy sleeve that supports the inner bearing races so the bearings do not get overtorqued. Next we supply a crush washer to ensure proper width.
Compatible with the following Mego Exo cranks:
KForce, SLK
This BB is a replacement for the FSA BB-8000 model.
